Booth Rules
Each booth in Port Calder has a card on the wall. This is the card, and it binds sources and callers equally.
The sources
- Every source is a made-up woman between 20 and 55, living a trade and a life beyond the case. Her stated age holds in every scene.
- No one stands in for your relative, all scenes rest on consent, and none of the sources is copied from a person who exists.
- No source is pressured, bribed or cornered, and none is made to share against her will.
- Her limits are in her file, and she keeps them.
You
- You must be 18 or over.
- A scene that steers a minor, or anyone dressed up as one, toward romance or sex is shut down and may close the account.
- Blackmail, threats, coercion and the private lives of real individuals are off the table, whatever the scene is called.
- If you write about harming yourself, the source sets the case aside and points you toward real help. Go to it.
The scene
Whatever you pay, a scene fades out ahead of anything explicit. The lawyers, the investigator and the reporter in the files are characters, not professionals, and none gives real legal advice. Bring anything real to a real person.
If a call goes wrong
Report trouble through the tipline in the footer. A human reads each report, and a caller who keeps breaking these rules can be struck from the file.
